    Question What is this?

I was browsing the net for entertainment and saw this item:

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what it might be?

It is pretty! No idea who might have made it. And doesn't look old, almost looks like a modern reproduction. (overlay on the cap doesn't' quite fit, the end of the section, the condition, and that lever looks like a newer repo to me, but who knows I'm no expert!)

It arrived ready to fill and use. It was very clean when it arrived, with no signs of any ink when I gave it a precautionary flushing before first use. Other than the big P on the clip the only other inscription is "Special Alloy Made in USA" on the nib. The nib has a hard smooth feel, with a little spring if you press it. Not as springy as a German school pen. I will post pics later when I am able to take some.
