Thumbs up SOLD -- Franklin Christoph Model 29

    THIS IS SOLD

Bought this in April 2013 and used it moderately in rotation with 6 other pens. I like the pen a lot, especially the nib. I'm selling this to help fund the purchase of other pens (likely an F-C model 3 or 19).

It has a Masuyama broad italic nib. This would fall closer to Cursive Italic than Crisp. It writes smoothly and with good flow on many different types of paper, but it still has a lot of line variation. The nib worked great out of the box. Never had any trouble with it. Never made any modifications. The color is black and deep purple (which is not available from F-C or at least not right now)

It has some wear. With this black pen it is hard to photograph the wear. The paint has a lot of really fine scratches. They are visible in the first picture. You can only see them if you are looking really closely. The cap has 2 really small indentations where it got bumped. There is one scratch on the cap that is about 1/16 or 1/8 of an inch long and very narrow that goes down through the paint. Other than that, none of the scratches or wear is through the paint. The metal parts have similar wear - just very fine scratches on it. I think that all these little scratches on the paint and metal could be polished/buffed out quite easily if you really want the pen to look completely new. The paint on the colored ring on the cap has a couple areas that it has worn off. This can be seen in the 2nd picture.

Shipping will be included in the price, and I will send it inside the original box. I travel a lot for work so once paid there might be a few day's delay before I'm able to ship it. It will come with the original converter.

Asking $75 $70 or PM with offers. That includes shipping to CONUS in original box. It was $99 new at the time (and currently costs $115 new).
