90th Anniversary MBs now available!

So.. Thread title pretty much says it: the rose gold trim 90th Anniversary pens are available on Montblanc site, as well as through retailers, as of today.
While some have said that taking a 2-tone nib out was not the best idea, upon examining those in person I liked the idea.
What tops it off is the availability of the 149 in this collection.

Opinions? Purchasing plans?

Mont Blanc is flying Dan into NY today to attend their 90th Anniversary event in SoHo...

I would say we can expect some Great photos of the new pen and maybe some video as well.

I'm flying back right now. It was an awesome event but they didn't have the 149 in rose gold on display. They had the 146 and the 144, but not the 149. A little odd if you ask me, but then this wasn't a pen focused event.

They did have the Steinway Patron of the Arts and a new Grace de Monaco out that's scheduled for release around July. They had a lot of leather goods and a LOT of watches out, including a $320,000 tourbillon.

I tried taking some pics but they didn't turn out worth a darn so I'll have to wait for the photos to come back from the photographer they had on staff.

Very nice! I ended up ordering the medium nib as well. From your picture, it seems I made the right choice based on your handwriting being similar to mine. Thanks for sharing!
