I've just received a mint Delta Planet Mediterranean Blue Ocean from one of my favourite sources, Speerbob (no affiliation other than being a very satisfied customer for several years). I was pleasantly surprised with this pen and it will become a favourite in the inked rotation. Another positive is that I am now one more up on Bogon07 in the "who-has-the-most-Deltae" race.
My initial impressions are as follows - rather unique but very attractive design and appearance. Very comfortable in the hand and doesn't require posting, however, the cap posts as good as it gets if you need to do this. Thickish in girth, much wider than a Pelikan M200/400 but similar to a Delta Gallery Blue Moon piston filler (see comparative photo below). Does not take a full size converter and the ink system options are international cartridges, a short converter, or used as an eyedropper. I'm going with carts at the moment. The nib in this one is a factory 1.0mm 18kt stub nib which is very similar to the feel of the stub nib in my Aurora Optima. It is smooth and wet and a delight to write with. The cap unscrews with just ¾ of a turn, which is very good.
Here are a few photos from my Fujifilm X10.
