Default Fair price for an M215 Lozenge

I have my mind set on adding a Pelikan Classic M215 Lozenge to my collection. I have been watching them on ebay- new or used - and shopping various online stores.

Pengallery.com sells it for $102 USD plus $15 USD for shipping.

To me this sounds like an unbeatable price for a new M215 Lozenge?

    What do you guys think?

Perhaps my expectation is a little unrealistic -- but i'd call that a fair deal. Unbeatable would be $75 or less, including shipping, for me anyway.

OTOH, for something i really want, a fair deal is good enough, i wouldn't want to bleed the seller dry either -- as long as budget permits.

Thank you for your answer Kai,

I have seen prices ranging from 125 to 175 excluding shipping and have only seen the ring model in the used market and they were welling around 100$ again excluding shipping.

The lowest price on ebay for a new one that I’ve seen was 133$ USD shipping included

    I really want this lozenge one… 117$ all in… I think I have convinced myself ;-)

Go for it -- do what would make you happy. It's a handsome pen.

Within Germany it would run almost $100 discounted so that is about right with shipping to the US/Canada.
The only other thing you might try is to send an e-mail to user printhardcopy and see if he has or can get one.

I have a Lozenge with a B nib and it has been my daily writer for some time now.
Great flow and as always very reliable.

I have had a rectangle m215 for a couple of years now, and the nib was awful (even after replacing it). Now Richard Binder has had a play with it and it writes like a dream!
"What are moon-letters?" asked the hobbit full of excitement. He loved maps, as I have told you before; and he also loved runes and letters, and cunning handwriting, though when he wrote himself it was a bit thin and spidery.
