How to get to eraser on Sheaffer mechanical pencil?
I got a very nice Sheaffer mechanical pencil yesterday. It still has the $3.00 sticker on it. I can make the lead go in and out but I can't pull the top off to get to the eraser. I am afraid to pull hard on it for fear of breaking. Is there a technique for doing this?

WD 40 and a hard pull worked.

Pull straight and not at an angle.
On ones that are hard to get off I use a rubber pad and holding the pen body use two fingers right at the divide to push UP against the cap.
