Arthur Twydle's favourite pen for everyday use was a Pelikan M800

Hi All,

I was just going through my old pen receipts yesterday and found an old receipt from the legendary Arthur Twydle. With the receipt was some notes I made back in 2004 when I spoke to Arthur on the phone about some pen servicing I wanted. (I service my own pens now) He told me about his time after the war and Parker pens. I asked him what his favourite pen was and expecting him to say a Duofold, as we had been discussing nibs, he said a Pelikan M800. So, now you know what Arthur's favourite pen was, if you didn't know before.

Just thought I'd share that with you. Pen Repair by Marshall and Oldfield is dedicated as a tribute to Twydle.
