and that when Truth and Error have fair Play, the former is always an overmatch for the latter."

Oh my! I should get out of this thread quickly. Finally getting back to playing with my beloved fountain pens after a long absence and I am almost drooling over these lovely birds! I'll try to get a photo of mine at some point, but for now I'll just look with longing eyes at all of yours.
The binde on a 100(N) is easily swapped - just enscrew the piston mechanism and replace it. The pen has a sleeve/barrel and the binde fits over this.

Current pen rotation: way too many!
Careful, its not that easy to replace a sleeve. It´s better to put the barrel in water for at least 24h and only take it out after using a rubber piece. It will only come out from the section end. Sometimes it´s very hard to take it out.
Best regards
Vasco

Wow. What a collection. Awesome!
From what I hear now this is no longer an option.
The last I heard from him my Ibis was on the bench. Maybe I am the one that made him give it up.
Anyway, I got a new storage box yesterday, and the next thing I knew it was full of Pelikans. These are most of my nice ones though so I thought it was worthy of a picture.

I've thoroughly enjoyed this eye candy, so it's only fair I contribute. Here's my Pelikan collection--for the moment!
My attempt at a humorous display...they are looking on with longing:

And one for the road--a Pelikan 400nn I recently got:

I don't have all of these anymore, but here's a photo I took of the flock a while ago.
They're in a nest!
The mom and dad of the flock are the M800 in red and the M800 Demo with Spanish imprints with a factory error in translation, which makes this pen one of only 19 in the world. The grandfather of the bunch, also the shortest, is the rare reverse trim Pelikan 140 with BB CN flex stub. A wonderful nib!

I only have one, so far. This one is an M600, But there will definitely be more...
The ink is the ink of my primary school days, Pelikan Königsblau. Only back then, I used cartridges. The paper is Atoma, a Belgian brand of notebooks, and it actually IS from my primary school days. I found these notebooks a while back in my old stuff, and the paper is surprisingly fountain pen friendly! This really is a "vintage" notebook, it is more than 30 years old!
Kind regards,
Jos
