Please Help Identify This Parker Mechanical Pencil

This pencil is 5" long and has a machined design of parallel lines on the barrel. It looks like it is gold plated but there is no mention of any gold content on it.

On the lower part of the cap section is : PARKER MADE IN U.S.A. Above that is a Parker logo with arrow

There is also a small cartouche area on the barrel and one small area of plating loss, most likely the result of oils and rubbing from the previous owners hand.

The mechanism itself, was also a surprise to me. I am not used to seeing one like this.

Can anyone identify this pencil?
