Default Waterman Steel nib interchangeable #6 Kult/Phil/L'Et

As brought up in the previous thread, there is a #6 nib/feed used in a few pens. These go in the Kultur, Harley Freewheel & Horizon, Phileas, Perspective and L'Etalon (18k):

Kultur nibs are always either all polished or all plated. Phileas nibs are always two-tone. L'Etalon nibs have the tip size marked on the feed.

I forgot the Harley. It's the same in the Freewheel (special finish on a Kultur) and the Horizon:

L'Et nibs make a nice upgrade for the Phileas and Kultur. I find the fit better using the Kult feed in the Kult section. There seems to be a tiny difference between the L'et and Kult sections, maybe from tooling differences.

As I like the idea of having a pen with flames, this is one of my favorites:

I bought an EF L'Etalon 18K for one of my Phileas pens. This possibility mentioned to me by the OP.

I'm not so sure about the Harley pens. I think I'd prefer the Lara Croft set.

I now have a Phileas with a L'etalon nib. I bought the nib only so had no options with the feed. It's lovely and I'm deciding whether to do it again....

The Phileas with the 18K EF nib from the L'etalon has been a favorite, and I can swap the section into any of the Phileas pens depending on what color I want to use.

Getting the right nibs is the main problem

Yes, getting the desired nibs is a challenge. Dutchpen sold most of the ones I was interested in. I found that Newell Rubbermaid here in the USA had Phileas nib and section units in EF to B, but I didn't think to ask about l'etalon. I don't know whether Newell Rubbermaid in the UK has them or not. It's not easy to find the nibs, but there must be sources where Force of FPN finds them, seemingly always at low cost.

I feel like I am always on the verge of selling the pens I have, because this has all gone much farther than I ever intended, but I am lazy and my cameras are old, as am I.

I now have another Phileas with a L'etalon OL nib. It's nice.

As I was only able to source nibs, not feeds, I have to be careful when removing the nib and feed from the Phileas

I should have bought one of those OL nibs when Dutchpen had them. Or maybe the OF. Is your OL nib edged?

I find the extra fine L'etalon nib I did buy is really nice. If I remember correctly, it snapped onto the Phileas feed. At least you shouldn't have to worry about the 18K nibs corroding.

When you say 'edged' do you mean oblique edged? Yes it is. It does snap onto the Phileas feed, and makes a satisfying click when it's pushed back in correctly. They write so much better than the standard steel Phileas nib

Yes, they sure do write much better than the Phileas nib. I am very pleased to have the EF. I can see I should have bought an OL too. Such is life.
