    Default SOLD

I once traded this pen, then traded for it back, and am now selling it. It has been my touchstone for great writing pens but recently I received a Newton Pen that equals it, so off it goes. It's got plastic piston threads and 14c mediumish nib. There is a bit of scratches around the snowflake otherwise it is in great shape. Asking $400 shipped to conus. I will not go down on the price of this one. It writes too good.Montblanc 149 Capped.JPGMontblanc 149 Uncapped.JPG

Actually. I have my eye on something. I'll mark it down to $350 for now.

I would pounce on this if I hadn't bought two 149's in the last month and the last one the same vintage and nib as this one.

Yeah, I'm still thinking about it. You know the drill--go through the collection, decide which ones I'm willing to part with, add up the estimated sale prices, etc.

Can I see pics of the scratching around the snowflake?

Not to carry on a conversation here, but all bumps are good bumps, and I need somebody else to buy this pretty soon. Anyway, reminds me of one of my favorite scenes in The Fifth Element.
