Default Drop Me a Line ALL GONE!

In the spirit of encouraging correspondence, I have a few ink samples to pass on to ANY Geeks in the US [I wil pay shipping, of course]. Just send me a postcard (letters OK too!) with your address and FPGeek User Name on it and the names of inks you'd like to try. For fun, I'll post pics of the mail that comes my way. My address is at the bottom of this post.

Closing this PIF now, all samples are sent. Thanks everyone for the cards and notes!

Noodler's "Rome Burning", a murky golden brown. CLAIMED AND SENT!
Iroshizuku's "Yama-budo", a purple with red sheen. CLAIMED & SENT!
    Iroshizuku's "Ina-ho", a greenish brown. CLAIMED & SENT!
    Noodler's "Antietam", a rusty, brownish red.CLAIMED & SENT!
Platinum's "Silky Purple". CLAIMED & SENT!

The vials contain 1-3 ml ink.

    Thank you!

LOL I pm'd VertOlive earlier for exactly the same purpose. Whenever my wife and I travel on holidays I have a small list of people to whom I send a postcard.

Nice idea however, even with only your handle over the address, I don't think it's wise to post your address in an open forum like this. Plus it's been up long enough. Please do yourself a favor, remove it or ask the moderator to do it for you - just edit the address out...

He's right. You don't want to invite stalkers or other uninvited guests

    I do appreciate the concern!

I took great care not to reveal the writer's address or even forum name.

My own is up on this and the pen pal threads anyway.

Ain' nobody gone mess with a batty chemist livin' with an ex-marine undertaker and four grumpy dogs.

As King Leonidas said to the Persians at Thermopylae, "You want our weapons? You come and get them."

Actually (pardon the pedantic rant), while λαμβάνω *can* mean “get,” it has more a connotation of “get by taking,” whereas δεχομαι is more “get by receiving.” It may seem a small distinction, but it is an important one that should not be lost. When Leonidas exclaimed, “Μολων Λαβέ!” he was taunting the Persian; the ancient equivalent of, “...from my cold, dead hands.”

    The samples arrived today Thanks!
