A little warning for Lamy Lovers ...

It appears a seller (or two) is selling fake Lamy Safari pens on eBay.

I purchased a discontinued apple green and it arrived with a black cross top! The photo in the ad did not show the top, but in looking at the seller's other ads, it appears s/he has sold the discontinued orange (with a black cross top), discontinued aquamarine (with a black cross top) and others.

I'm not a Lamy expert, so I posted a warning about my pen purchase in the Market Watch forum on FountainPenNetwork and asked for feedback on my suspicion that the pens are fake. http://www.fountainpennetwork.com/fo...afari-on-ebay/

Melissa, that sucks!! I hope that ebay will ban off the counterfit seller and that Lamy will take action on this! I have bought all my Lamy's locally (in NL). I still see some LE pens at a few stores. I think I can still find you an apple green somewhere...
