Hi from supposedly wintery Auckland. I've been creeping around for a while and I thought I should introduce myself.

Now in my eighth year or so of pen madness. For my birthday (recently passed) I acquired a good load of kit to help me start doing some resaccing and what not which is a new venture for me and one I'm greatly looking forward to. It's a good thing to get into as they're aren't that many of us who are into FPs in this part of the world.

Well I successfully braved my restoration of a touchdown and was actually a lot easier than I expected. I actually think pen repair appeals to my personality as I love stuff to do with mechanisms and fiddly dexterity stuff.

Cryptos - I'm actually probably moving back to Dunedin at the beginning of next year so maybe I can be of help.

My daily carry varies a lot - and has changed a bit lately as two of my favourite pens are currently in need of repair. My two favourite pens are probably a Parker 51 black vac with a really sweet XF nib, and a 50s MB 144 with an OBB nib. Besides these I also use a variety of older Pilot models (I vaguely try to collect 70s Pilots) and have a rather nice Nakaya in one of the ishime finishes.

Favourite inks - Aurora Black, Herbin Perle Noire, Pilot Inaho, Pilot Yamabudo

I'll try to upload a few photos of my carry when I can - I actually carry probably around twenty pens with as I carry a huge satchel and I'm a bit nuts.
