Came across this amazing Evil Bay listing: 515 vintage pens (mostly Montblancs) for a wee bit over $400,000.00 (which will surely blow your pen budget)

What an astonishing collection ...

It looks to me like someones lifetime of collecting thats on the block.

The few I browsed though shows that they really knew what they were collecting and what to look for.

I'm really surprised it is being listed on Ebay instead of being sold by an auction house? I know a number of the big collectors/restorers do work fo such places getting collections like this ready for sale. I've never heard of any of them usign ebay. Weird.

They are trying to go cheap. Many of the higher end auction houses take 10-40 (yes FOURTY!) percent.
There is a Pelikan collection from Mannheim that keeps showing up as well. Nice, but not to the level of that MB collection.
