Looks like the same bag.... So I'll amend my price to $235 plus USPS priority rate shipping ($10.50).... the canvas on these bags is water proof. I use their larger computer bag in all kinds of weather.

I'll attempt to make this post as pleasant as possible because I am in fact interested.

Do you have the receipt, warranty paperwork, and other documentation?

Can you confirm which model this is?

I'm assuming it's the $300 70257 model based on your price, but please let us know. If it's the $248 70256 model it will be a little hard for me to justify giving up a lifetime warranty and the security of buying direct in order to save $2.50.

More information would certainly help us out specifically if this was purchased from an authorized retailer and if you have the paperwork for it.

I bought it 3 years ago have never used it. I thought I would use it for a carry on bag for when I travel by air.... hasn't happen and it has sat in my closet...

I don't have the original receipt any more nor the tag that came on the bag. I've never needed them to make a repair in the past... I have 6 other bags by this company which I use all the time. You just call them and mail it to them or bring it to your local Filson store/rep and they take care of the rest.
