    Default A Feathered PenPal

Video of a Japanese illustrator who goes by the name Satsuma, working with a Northern White-Faced Owl perched on his hand.
I could not imagine my Lovebirds being this well behaved, I think they would chew the end of the pen.

My cat would not be this well behaved with a pen in the area. I think she resents me for doing anything other than petting her. Maybe the owl likes the movement?

Okay, is it just me or who has an owl just hanging out on their hand? That was amazing. I can't even get the cats to take a nap NOT on my paper or to not push the pens off the table, or to not chew everything . . .

I wonder if the Owl would be so calm if Satsuma was using a mouse ?

Note the size of his pupils, the bird is a stoner; has no idea he's landed on this fellow's pen.

That's so cute! Thanks for sharing.

And for those of you that have cats; why don't you put a box next to the table?
Cats can't help but sit in boxes if there's one available.

I have a box, and a bed near my writing table. Me writing on paper with semi-vertical moving object still remains initially more interesting.
