    Since this topic has been resurected, here's a photo of my mechanical pencils.

    All with 0.5 or 0.7 leads, always 2B.

    Favourites? Probably the Lamy 2000, and the humble Pentel P207. Both quite old but still working well. And also the IJ Instruments bamboo.
