Future members should be aware of what goes on round here.
This doesn't answer my question as to why the order, first announce and then register.

Had already registered. So, please, shoot me for poor sentence construction and please go right ahead trying to find more meaning in my message than is really there. Looks like you are one of the group to what I am referring to.

It's still kind of funny that this persona is making a big production of their leaving. Some things never change.

    I think more is better.

We should have a member make a member thing to grow the site.

On the advice of a member here who sent me a private email here I used a different name. You gonna blame me for that too?

No, that I cannot do, it is a question of trust. As it seems you are part of the bad apple bunch here there is no reason to provide you with an opportunity to continue this unfounded witch hunt on the other webpage.

The person that many here are associating with you, I whole-heartedly supported at the detriment to my reputation. By going the route of you verifying yourself as other at FPN (where he's banned),I could confirm to others here your honesty. Things are so moderated at FPN that you'd have no risk as I wouldn't want to be banned there.

I actually don't care who he is or where he joins but just so you are aware, you don't have to "verify yourself" in any meaningful way at FPN. All you need is an acceptable email address and a user name. So even David Jackson could rejoin and he has already confirmed (probably now deleted) in another thread that he is a member over there.

Personally, because he said he was happy to be posting on here only about mechanical pencils, I had doubted my original thought and just stuck him onto my ignore list. Now he's stopped posting about mechanical pencils and has become someone who seems to only be here to moan and complain and post off topic responses. Much more like the guy we thought he was. These latest posts/responses are now worth further consideration.

I got the rOtring 800 I was Jonesing for. In black because for reasons beyond me the silver version was more expensive at the time of purchase. Weird, and I now since see them back at the same price, which is annoying but what can you do. The 800 has a good weight to it, I know it's in my pocket and when it's not. One of the key benefits of the model tho is the retractible lead pipe. While the 800 is similar in operation to my well-used and trusty Graphgear 1000, the extra weight is very much welcome. No chance of losing it and not knowing.

There is a collection of fountain pens at home. They are not much use to me here though, so I dont bring none with me. My current interest is in mechanical pencils, so it is annoying that you and others dragged this message stream into your weird-ass witchhunt. You reap what you sow, but I see that my previous comment about sweeping things under the carpet is showing out to be true and that you dont understand this.

    For future reference:

“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap" - Galatians 6:7

    Also,

"As I have seen, those who plow iniquity and sow trouble reap the same" - Job 4:8

Confirming your part of the witchhunt bad apple bunch.

Google search for mechanical pencils led here. Dont know of any specific pencil websites except for sales pages so plunged in here. Wouldnt go so far as to honor that experience with a term like regret and I did say up front that I will slap back on people being disrespectful or just plain stupid. You got some other place suggestions man?

Excellent job. Well done you. If this thread in any way helped you to buy it and you're happy with it and enjoying it then that's great. Yes? If you felt you really, really had to post the rest and it made you feel even better about your rOtring that is such a shame. I wonder if you think it's going to make more or fewer members help you in the future

Yes the messages here led me from a 3 way Mexican stand off to the 800 as a stand out. Yes it is a great pencil so much so I might go for an extra one. As for the rest..... it was stated way back that I will not put up with disrespectful behavior. Fools kept pushing it so it kept getting pushed back. What did you expect? That just as a new member I would be first cousin to Moses Rose? More or fewer members help in the future, you tell me. Hows that worked for you?

I don't remember David quoting the Bible. He was a Buddhist or former one if I remember.

I am sorry for his/Monsoon's experience, but the offending member is a well-known troll and may be or likely the result of a duel member profile.

Anyway, I am glad we are back onto pencils as I am enjoying these Rocket Autopoints much.

I am not sure if I already have posted this one:

It's a vintage Greif repeater pencil and the only pencil I know with a window to check the lead reserve.
