The maroon color is pinkish maroon, or maroonish pink.
Plastic body, metal clip. There is a clear ink window in the "gills".
Full size pens: 5-1/2" (139 mm) capped, 7/16" (11 mm) section diameter

I don't believe these were ever retailed in North America. I do believe you won't find lower priced Pelikan piston fillers.
