Default Would anyone be interested in a Ink sample thread?

I am wondering if anyone would be interested in a thread where you post what ink samples you are looking for and then someone that is participating volunteers to send the ink. I have done this on tea forums before and it worked really well.

Are you wanting tea? Or were you just saying yes to the ink samples?

Yes, great idea. And it would be good to be able to match seekers and donors from specific locations i.e. US, Asia and Europe. It is expensive to post samples internationally, usually costing a lot more than the value of the ink.

Maybe a sticky thread in the inky thoughts like Sample requests US or sample swap something like that.and the same with Europe and Asia or allow the participants to decide if they want to participate with other regions.

Tea and ink samples in the same parcel please.
"What are moon-letters?" asked the hobbit full of excitement. He loved maps, as I have told you before; and he also loved runes and letters, and cunning handwriting, though when he wrote himself it was a bit thin and spidery.

I tried mentioning this to the powers that be, and a couple other ideas and was basically told there was not enough demand but I would love such a forum. I have samples I will never use and would gladly trade them away for colors I will.

There is a site which does similar to this called freecycle.com where if you need something and someone has it they give it to you and if you have something you just want to get rid of you post saying it is available for free.

    Maybe call it Inkcycle
