Default Some of me Recent Pens

Thought I'd post a few of my recent pens just for fun. The first few are made with blanks made by our own Jonathan Brooks (Brooks803).

And some made with other blanks...

    Well. That was fun.

    Thanks for looking!

    Ken

I can't speak for the rest of them, but the red one writes like a dream, along with looking like a million bucks. I've never had a fine nib so smooth and well-adjusted! Thanks again, Ken!

I don't think I can say much more than that! Of course I'm biased towards the first 4, but they're all beautiful. The third one down (primary manipulation) is the hardest material for me to make. It came out perfect!

Totally agree - it's a spectacular blank. I have had many, many requests for pens made up from the cut-offs of other blanks, and have made a few, and they are always fun - the garish, wild colours etc. But this particular blank is an easy sell for those who like that kind of thing. And, the translucent 'background' resin is brilliant. Thanks for the opportunity to turn some really cool stuff!

These are all beautiful. That 4th one down looks like molten lava to me. The depth of color is spectacular.
