"What are moon-letters?" asked the hobbit full of excitement. He loved maps, as I have told you before; and he also loved runes and letters, and cunning handwriting, though when he wrote himself it was a bit thin and spidery.
That is absolutely stunning. Your photos bring out the darker tones of the swirl. As you already know, you will love this pen.

What nib did you get?
Medium. I do find Edison nibs to run a bit broad (compared to Lamy, eg). On tomoe river this nib is super fat.

You will have to pay for shipping, but they will exchange the nib for you.

No need. I love it! But I do think the Edison fine has become my nib of choice.

This is a beautiful pen! The only thing holding me up on buying it is the fact I want to know what the Edison Group Buy pen will be before I commit the funds!

What a great color. This is not helping me resist the call of the Edisons.
Clearly they had a higher and more comprehensive conception of the duties of society toward it's members than had the lawgivers of Europe of the time, and they imposed obligations upon it that were shirked elsewhere... But it is the provisions for public education which, from the very first, throw into the clearest relief the originality of American civilization.

I really have to give Mr. Gray credit: he knows how to pick nice materials.
