Default My first and second attempt at mountains

Thought it might be fun to try some painting. I have no natural talent, but I have been having fun.

Very well done to both paintings.

Looking at both paintings I particularly liked the way you painted the mountains but clouds are further away (usually) and quite a bit softer. I do not know if you used Acrylics or Oils but you might consider redering the clouds a bit 'fluffier' by diluting the ink and therefore contrasting them further from the mountains.

Thanks for the tip, I'll try that with the next one.
These are in acrylic. I would be interested in using oils, but the smell of the solvents give me head splitting headaches.

The blue one has a nice surreal Magritte touch, mountain clouds on top of mountains.
