Banned From FPN?

Some of you may recall I, too, was banned. Last year. A couple of us involved in this thread have discussed it in private.
I do not recall if I was an admin of the FPN group on Facebook but I have been as of the last few months. I figured it was maybe a good idea to at least have a presence again on the main site as well. But since my ban I was only able to see into the discussion threads and send and receive messages. I could not participate in the discussion threads. They did not like that I made small talk in the PIF thread so I was banned for it. Then eventually I could log in but not see or access any part of the site. But today I checked and my account was totally gone. So, I made a new one. I am just curious to see if anything has changed for the better.

Even though I've been on FPN on and off for the past few years, I'm not a fan of the pay to play model for the classified even though I understand why.

I've seen some intensely rude comments in FPN threads with moderators saying nothing. I like the people here. We're a friendly bunch of folks.

We need a better answer. If I participated in that forum I'd need to push the envelope.

And here I was thinking it was a bit better over there now... foolish of me !! The recent "super sizing" with the addition of countless forums is just so messy to browse you wonder about the thought process involved. FPN seems to have little to recommend itself with at present in a lot of areas.

BTW Todd we have a dedicated tool to clean up the mess with....the "s#$t shovel" !!

Apart from the classifieds issue - which I don't really care about anyway - I find both sites are pretty much the same with regard to member behaviour. I don't find either one to be significantly more friendly than the other, but that may be because I am an outsider to both places and generally get treated with the same disregard no matter which place I visit. At least it's consistent I suppose.

Once we post, none of us are outsiders. You might also consider the common denominator in the equation.

There are definitely cliques in existence in both forums though.
