    Default Another Parker Pencil

This is the only pencil I have. Can anyone tell me anything about it?

It was a gift from my mother. She included it in a package of pens that I had had sent to her address. Can't think why I might need another. Oh, wait, maybe I need a fat one, a thin one, a soft one and a hard one.

Looks like either a 45 pencil or one of the Parker 17 style models.

I am terribly fond of pencils - even if I do not use them as much as pens; I like the amazing variety of constructions, mechanical arrangements and finishes. Some of them are very pretty indeed; and of course I can use different grades of leads and I was lucky to buy four lots of original Fyne-Poynt red leads; now I want some blue ones!

    Best wishes

Would it date to the 1980s?

More like from the late 50's till late 60's.
Does it not have a date code?

Most of the later Parker pencils are push feed where the feed point sticks out of the pencil. Great for making holes in your pockets.
The earlier ones were twist feed.

As far as I can tell it only says PARKER Made in England on it. It is a twist feed.
