No worries? I'm sure that whenever you finish, it will be worth the wait.

It has only caused a short delay,

I only have a silver cover for the knot on the side I do have some gold elastic for the closure and a choice of silver rose or bronze coloured eagle head.

Hmm. I do grow roses, but I think I will go with the eagle for this one. The dragonfly on the cover and the eagle charm will both be symbolic to me.

Don't worry Tiffany I have attached the Eagle as requested but just in case you change your mind there is a rose in the envelope in with your case which has left a gap on my desk where it sat for so long.
It should be with you in the next 10 days.

I thought you might like to know the case has just landed at O`HARE (CHICAGO) airport.

I have also started another round project more to follow soon!

    Here they are!

I ordered some Japanese kimono silk from Etsy to make a lightweight wrap for the pens, but when I received the fabric, the colors clashed with the oxblood leather. (That's ok, though, because it's perfect for a scarf!) Until new fabric arrives, I'm making do with an old pen wrap that was tucked away in the back of a drawer. It's too bulky and doesn't have deep enough pockets for what this project needs, but it's good enough to get by for now.

As you can see, Michael did a fantastic job. The case is exactly what I needed, and it's sturdy enough that I will be able to pass it on as an heirloom when the time comes.

Excuse the cluttered, dusty desk. This is real life.

Thanks, Tiffany - great pictures, really showing the case in use - I especially like how you've got some of the Skrip in boxes that reflect the colors of the case hanging out there in the background.

That is really a museum-worthy piece. enjoy!!!!

These pictures cannot adequately show the obvious care and finishing that went into this case. Not only does it look good now, but it will still look good in a few decades when someone inherits it. The leather will have a patina, but the seams will be solid.

Thanks Tiffany It was a pleasure to make it for you
When we started talking about a case I never thought it would turn out as it did, the case evolved as we discussed your requirements and what was possible with the materials.
I am pleased that you like it I am proud to say "I made that"
Have a great time at the pen show
