Here's the franklin Christoph 66 that I bought with a music nib - 1.8 stub.

Thanks. I need some extra arms/hands to use all my pens.
Several of the seasoned pen collectors laughed at me for having about 50 pens. They said come back when you get close to a thousand. Ugh...can you see where this hobby is going?

They said....some clear 66 were made just for the show, but were so popular they may make more. I believe I saw 65 in clear....but not certain.....the brain is a bit overloaded from all the pens....thus I could be wrong. The 66 has a great balanced feel to it and when the light hits the clear/frosted barrel...it's beautiful.

Thanks, Samantha! This clear one makes a huge difference for me! Enjoy!

Yup, they were introducing it at the show. I'm guessing they are giving noodlers music nib a run for its money.
This music nib is very wet and wide. I tried the pilot music nib (can't remember which member got it at the DC show) and that one was more narrow line with good spring. Interesting to experience the differences in the music nibs.
I'm still on the fence about FC music nib. It's so fat, but I'm having fun playing with it.

Yeah it will be interesting to hear more about noodlers nib. One review said it was great.

OMG, omg! A nib of my dreams. Does any one know when I can get an FC pen with this nib???
My haul
From left to right in the case: the Waterman 7 Ripple with a Red nib that Manny lent me; the bolt action, stylus tipped ballpoint(I know, I know); B nib pilot Vanishing Point in blue carbonesque, whose skipping issues seem to be settling out a bit; a NOS Pilot Judan (my favourite purchase, I think); and a Sheaffer Balance pen and pencil, bought separately.
The sheaffer writes like an absolute dream with the fill of Tokiwa-Matsu I sneaked from the sample table -- I couldn't resist the matching.
I also got a Rhodia R pad and a slew of Herbin cartridges I swiped up as s someone was packing up. That is to say I bought them, not stole them in the confusion.
I had a great show, see everyone next time!
Oh yeah, crazyO, you hadn't seen these since you bailed before I bought them! Poor form...

"What are moon-letters?" asked the hobbit full of excitement. He loved maps, as I have told you before; and he also loved runes and letters, and cunning handwriting, though when he wrote himself it was a bit thin and spidery.
Ha ha...like the pattern on the vanishing point. It was great meeting you. Best of luck with future ventures.
