Manoeuver, the Black Safari showed them you mean business and is that your "new" 2000 next to it ?
Did you have green ink in any of the pens ?

Today's inked up pen for work is the newly delivered Lamy Linea herringbone with a fine filled with Noodler's Midnight Blue.
IMO a very attractive looking pen although rotating the patterned barrel appears to have a high chance of setting off a migrain.
It seems to feel slightly lighter than either the Logo or CP1.

I write a lot in my Leuchtturm 1917 Master journal and memoirs each day, so I have opportunity to use a variety of pens. Today I used my Aurora Afrika and Optima Resin red in my journal this morning; I did some handwriting practice with my Monteverde Invincia Stylus and then back to my journal with a Noodler Ahab.
My 10 year old grandson Owen, who is doing home-schooling with me, practiced his signature in cursive with a Sailor 1911. He likes my pens that write with finer lines and he has gravitated to the blue Sailor 1911 even though he can use any of my 18 pens when I supervise. His very favourite pen is the Aurora Optima Auroloide Blue...obviously his favourite colour is blue. I monitor his use of my more expensive pens fairly closely because he is still a little uncoordinated and I don't want him dropping any of them on the floor or even onto my hard ash table that we work on. He feels more comfortable using the Sailor.

    Cheers

If he's really interested in pens, get him one! I got my first pen, a osmoriod calligraphy at age 10...5 years later, I have a great little collection!

    Best,
    Hi Will
He already knows that he wants an Aurora Optima! LOL! But he will have to wait a bit for that. I will be buying him one for Christmas but I haven't decided which one. He likes my blue 1911 Sailor so I may just gift it to him as his own.
Good to hear from you again mate. Did you get out to make angels in the snow? I hope it wasn't too bad for your district.

Today I'm using my "new" navy grey Parker 51 from ebay, filled with Pelikan Blueblack, and with a nice juicy medium nib, it writes like a dream

Yesterday evening spent 20 minutes queuing at the PostOffice to collect the latest bundle of pens from eBay the red and black Jinhao15s & a Baoer801 green. Unfortunately the red and the black one are just a glossy enamel paint not the metallic with varnish layer like the blue. They are still nice but don't have the wonderful lustre of the blue.

Inked up the black Jinhao15 with Lamy Black for use today at work in your honour, Daakusaido.
Oooohhh... that is nice. Time to go ebay-ing again, me thinks...

I've got my gloss black Lamy Safari with a LH nib with me today, accompanied by the matching ball pen and pencil.

Is it filled with Black ink ?
That's the last Safari on my list (until the next LE). It is tempting to push the button on the LH nib and free converter from one of those Malaysian eBay shops.

No - a Lamy blue cartridge. This pen set travels a lot; cartridges make refilling a snap.

I'm using my new Hero 100 flighter today. In the beginning it had some ink flow issues but after some flushings with water and a bit dish soap, it works much better. Nib is nice and smooth but actually not as smooth as my Hero 110. I'm also trying to get acquainted with my new GuanLeMing 193 with an upturned caligraphy nib, but it just confuses me so far...

Today is another Twsbi Mini day. Its a Classic, filled with Noodler's Colour Royale. I switched out the nib with my Twsbi 540 so that the Mini now has the fine nib and the 540 the Broad.

I LOVE that pen and it's the very one I'm using today. Just write naturally and with a light touch. You'll be pleasantly surprised at the variation.
My other pen is a Montblanc.

And my other blog is a tumblr!

It's been a Pilot 78G day for me. A green one with a broad nib filled with R&K Salix and a teal one with a medium nib filled with R&K Scabiosa. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1353365488.830434.jpg
