It would still be one of mine had I not had the idea of having him modify a "51" flighter rather than making a pen from scratch. He's an absolute perfectionist too--after recieving the pen I wrote to him in excitement and mentioned some slight scratching (the stuff is considered normal 'wear' on a Lamy 2000 stainless steel) to the underside of the hood, which he did not accept. As I somehow live literally 5 minutes down the road, I took it to his shop and he meticulously dissasembled the pen and worked out the problem (which was a badly manufactered Parker-made clutch ring, not having a thing to do with his workmanship), and refinished the pen (again).

All the way from UK, a snazzy vintage Conway Stewart wood-grain ebonite.
Originally an ink pencil (stylo) but I converted it (reversible, of course) into a nice little fountain pen.

Check out the knurled pattern on the cap. And the big CS insignia on the clip, and the complex lever filler assembly.

Today I'm using my first FP, the one that started it all. My Sheaffer 300. So elegant and versatile. Love it!

I actually have not been writing much, but I did use these. Sheaffer's Admiral TD filler with Akkerman Shocking Blue. Parker Vacumatic with Sailor Jentle Tokiwa-Matsu.

No pic but I am using a TWSBI ECO I just purchased from Holmeslice with a broad nib. I am enjoying it. Holmeslice btw is a fine seller and gentleman.

No pics, but I've been carrying/using my Parker 51 with Waterman Serenity Blue, and an eyedropper style Noodler's Neponset, filled with Noodler's Apache Sunset, all week. I purchased the former here, yet am drawing a blank as to whom I purchased from. In any case, it's sporting a great 14k med-fine "quasi-stub"... and makes me wish I had an appropriate budget to purchase more 51's.

One of my Parker 51s. It's a 3rd quarter 1942 Vacumatic, in Cedar Blue, with a very clean, almost unblemished sterling silver cap. It has a lovely smooth extra fine nib.
