Today I used the Visconti Millionaire "Empire Honey" medium nib and my early Father's Day present, a 1937 vintage Parker Vacumatic Major Speedline filler in Fine nib.

Put the Sailor Pro Gear away and moved the cartridge to a Sailor 1911s w/music nib.

Hailing from Pakistan, a decent piston filler. It's been filled with ink and sitting on my desk for a while now.
After a few strokes, the writing began. Not bad for a transparent piston filler.

I have one of those which came with a stub and it's a surprisingly nice writer but it's a hard starter.
Trying to catch up on a large backlog of pen pal letters, today I used a Franklin Christoph #31 Omnis Purpurae M SIG, TWSBI 580 Pink M, TWSBI Mini Blue B, Jinhao 992 F, Bexley Poseidon F I, Lamy Safari Petrol M (love the colour of the pen but as I started to write, instantly remembered how much I dislike Lamy pens and nibs), orange Sailor Pro Gear M, and a Sailor King of Pen B.
Today I am testing an Aurora 888 that I haven't used in ages.
I am very pleasantly surprised by the stainless steel Bock nib on a new-to-me Conid Minimalistica by Francis "Fountainbel" Goossens.
Then there's Francis's Bulkfiller filling system that pulls more ink into a defined amount of space, and keeps it from expelling on the downstroke, than all other self-filling pens. I'm not one for demonstrator pens, but this one deserves to have its clear barrel to watch it all happen.
This is a pen to use with a favorite ink (I've opted for Diamine's Sargasso Sea), because it could be a long time before it's time for a refill.

M: I came here for a good argument.
A: No you didn't; no, you came here for an argument.
M: An argument isn't just contradiction.
A: It can be.
M: No it can't. An argument is a connected series of statements intended to establish a proposition.
A: No it isn't.
M: Yes it is! It's not just contradiction.
A: Look, if I argue with you, I must take up a contrary position.
M: Yes, but that's not just saying 'No it isn't.'
A: Yes it is!
M: No it isn't!

I just ordered a 1911 with Music Nib...I thought it would be a 3 tine nib, but I see (and have heard from others), that the Sailor music is more of a stub. Do you find any variation from other stubs or is it pretty identical?
Thanks for the feedback in advance!

Today I wrote a bit with my Pelikan M405 Tortoiseshell in EF. Even though it's an EF it is a wet Writer!

Vintage Pilot Elite that has lost its cap. In its place, a cap from a similar Platinum pen. Look at that old 18K nib semiflex, it writes like a Pilot Falcon.

This is for yesterday. Wing Sung 698 with an EF nib and filled with Noodler's Midway Blue.

One of note today is a glass pen (part of a set with a heart shaped bottle of J. Herbin ink..)
Sometimes a pen is so outrageous in its appearance that it became comical.
This is a pen that doesn't take itself seriously. Eberhart Faber (E. Faber) or just EF engraved on the clip. Writes fine and nice after I restore and smooth the nib.
