I wrote a fat letter to AndyT that is overdue. I used the new Visconti American Dream and it was a pleasure! Nice way to enjoy Christmas afternoon.

They sell this at Kmart? Really? Who are the target customers (no puns intended)?

The ink is a little watery but the pens write pretty well for the price. The nibs are tending toward cursive italic/stub style. The right box photo shows a black Lamy Safari or Joy!
They don't have these at any Kmart I have ever visited. Of course, I don't visit that often and the last time I did, I was not looking for pens.

My new Platinum 3776 Black Music nib pen! Feel like a 16 yr old behind the wheel of a 'Vette! Whole lotta ink coming down the pipe on this one!

I've been sketching with my Noodler's Nib Creaper and green Lamy Safari (F), I love those two pens. I actually use them more often for sketching than writing because they just make it so nice.

Flushed a WS Children's pen...today I'm flushing my Hero Summer Colors and a Hero 366. Using a new Cross Coventry, with Cross black ink in the included cart.

Does anyone know which Cross con fits this model: the green con or the orange?

Just converted my Franklin Christoph #40 Pocket Pen (in solid emerald) to an eyedropper, which makes me nervous because it's not a demonstrator. I filled it with R&K Alt Goldgrün, which looks phenomenal in the Masuyama broad stub nib.

iirc, it is the green one. I am still using the carts and just refill them with different ink.

Over at the river this morning, some doodling with my Pelikan M300 and Visconti Turquoise.

Back at home I used my TWSBI Vac700 and, just to try it out on some notes, Caran d'Ache Ultra Violet.

At work used Sheaffer Balance Ebonized Pearl filled with Diamine Tropical Blue, and Sailor Sapporo Mini HF nib with PR Ebony Green.

Planning to fill my orange M300 for tomorrow after reading Mark's post

My Pelikan M320 Ruby inked with Montblanc Lavender Purple. I like reverse writing with this nib (with the nib facing down). The juicy medium nib becomes a fine/medium cursive italic.

Pilot Metropolitan (black crocodile, M nib), with Rohrer & Klingner's Verdura (which actually ran out of ink), so I switched to a Serwex 101, F nib, with Noodler's Shah's Rose. And I just filled up a Pilot Prera (lime green, M nib), with J. Herbin's Poussiere de Lune (because purple and green is a great colour combination).

    Default pens I used today...

Attempted to use my orange M320 M nib filled with Edelstein Tanzanite, but it feathered like crazy on cheapo work copy paper. So used Balance with Diamine Tropical Blue again.

Not exclusively, but I did most of my writing with a Sheaffer Imperial 440 with Montblanc Midnight Blue ink, and a Parker 45 with a black Quink cartridge.
