Lex Gray is one of my favorite inks, it's such an interesting color. Great choice!

I am perhaps going to this well too often, or others not often enough, but:

After a very long period of disuse, my Italix Parson's Essential, with Jinhao black ink. I was (but shouldn't have been) astonished by how pleasant the nib feels under my hand. Many pens more widely acclaimed don't feel anything like as good as this.

An inexpensive Glare Collection, Click pen I got off eBay that came from India. Has basically the same flex steel nib that comes on Noodler's Ahabs and Konrads- but has click engraved on it. Aesthetically looking a nice nib. Comes in a nice box in what I would say is a Western Fine. Very easy to grind and smooth

Reground into a real sweet crisp italic XF that flexes even more. Pen comes with a piston converter and for the bux is not a bad pen.

Waterman's Ideal 3V (top) and Mabie Todd Swan 3150. Akkerman #5 Shocking Blue and Namiki Blue respectively. I like blue ink.

Two plain looking vintage pens which are excellent writers. Eversharp Symphony with Akkerman #5 Shocking Blue. Mabie Todd Swan 3150 with Namiki Blue.

I haven't used the Symphony in quite a while. It writes beautifully, but as I recall, I would only get about 8 pages with it in an A5 journal before it ran dry. It's a very wet, medium writer, so I can see it going through ink rather fast, but this seems a bit too fast. I'll see how it does this time around. Maybe I wasn't leaving it in the ink bottle long enough to get a complete fill or something.
