Strasser switches to Montblanc by 1928 for his resignation. In the little basket on the desk it looks look a 146's shape, but in his hand it looks like a single-banded flattop. In either case, the clip looks like post-1949. Picky, picky, picky.
This BBC series is producing lots of vintage pen fodder, accurate or not. This is in the hand of Franz von Papen, Hitler's Vice Chancellor, in 1934.

The Sheaffer Taranis doesn't have that hole on the side, and the black parts are less visible IMO.

Well, the film was made in 2004, so it's unlikely to be a Vanvstas pen I think.
I've no idea what it is. May try and grab a screenshot next time I watch the DVD.
