Strasser switches to Montblanc by 1928 for his resignation. In the little basket on the desk it looks look a 146's shape, but in his hand it looks like a single-banded flattop. In either case, the clip looks like post-1949. Picky, picky, picky.

This BBC series is producing lots of vintage pen fodder, accurate or not. This is in the hand of Franz von Papen, Hitler's Vice Chancellor, in 1934.

That clip looks like the clips on modern Parkers. Also, looks like a piston filler with the piston knob partly open.

Looks exactly like a modern Duofold except for the very odd piston thing (maybe it's some sort of illusion?).

Strange. Almost looks like a nib on top of a nib. Not like any hooded Shaeffer or Parker I've ever seen. What's the movie?

The Sheaffer Taranis doesn't have that hole on the side, and the black parts are less visible IMO.

The film is 2046 by Won Kar Wei

It's quite an odd double hood. I'd like to see a different angle.

Well, the film was made in 2004, so it's unlikely to be a Vanvstas pen I think.

I've no idea what it is. May try and grab a screenshot next time I watch the DVD.

Nowhere Boy, the story of John Lennon's adolescence. Here he is getting the hang of writing music, portrayed when he met Paul McCartney in 1957.

It appears the embossed letters on the nib begin "PA...". What could it be?

...and then John's Aunt Mimi signs passport documents to enable John to go with his rock group to Hamburg. The lack of close-up detail may prevent a pen ID, unless it's the same as above.

Based on clip and trim ring, some kind of modern Parker in part 2 of Ordeal by Innocence, set in 1954–6?

This appears to be a Parker Duovac nib, but that golden metal ring around the end of the section was not on that pen if I recall correctly.

In this week's episode of the time travel TV series "Timeless", the famous "Mrs. Sherlock Holmes" (Grace Humiston) uses a golden FP in 1919:
