In Watchmen, a trillionaire offers a fountain pen to sign a contract. Sheaffer VFM?

White dot on the clip or a trick of the light?

Silver trim ring just visible at the end of the section?

I agree, the step down doesn't look quite right. Otherwise, it's got all the hallmarks of a Metro.

Looks very much like a Sheaffer VFM to me

Note the silver ring near the nib: in the penultimate photo of Catbert, you can see a shiny ring under the thumb of the character

Yup, that hint of a trim ring on the section (you have to zoom in to see it) was the clincher for me.

In season 1 of Dark, a child in 1953 uses an unidentified screw-cap fountain pen.

Perhaps appropriately for a show about time travel, the pen is reminiscent of a 1960s Pelikan MK10, though missing the barrel trim and cap detail. Something from one of the many mid-century German pen makers?

we cancelled netflix after several years for the following reasons:

    - They kept raising the price seemingly every couple of months. It had stopped being trivially cheap and was becoming expensive (it had as i recall over doubled in price in just a few years)
    - everyone and their dog apparently now has their OWN streaming service... which of course they all want you to pay for! seperately!
    - There is no guarantee that a tv show or movie that is there this week will be there next week...
    - The selection of movies in Canada is a freaking JOKE!
    examples:
    - The NEW Star Trek movies are there, but nothing prior to the JJ-verse is!
    - Half (or so) of the star wars movies are there, but half weren't...
    - HALF of the Marvel Movies were there... half weren't!

Question: HOW IN THE HELL are you supposed to watch the entire series of movies if half of them aren't even on the service?!

Solution: well, I guess you're just gonna have to pirate the other half ...

OK,... Follow up question: well... since i'm already gonna have to pay for a VPN and pirate half of the movies... why don't i just cancel netflix and pirate ALL of them and a bunch of TV shows while I'm at it?....

Answer: I leave that decision to you.

If you happen to have access to the 2-episode film Terry Pratchett's Going Postal, there's wonderful coverage of the hobby of pen pin collecting (even with a comparison to stamps). The parallels cannot be ignored and are quite funny if you don't take yourself and your pens too seriously.

Could be. Did it have a green/black variant as seen on TV?
