In the 1961 comedy "One, two, three" James Cagney plays a Coca Cola executive in Berlin during the Cold War but just before the construction of the Berlin Wall. In this scene his secretary "Fraulein Ingeborg" makes a phone call and you can see on her desk a tortoise Pelikan 400 in a pen stand.

Nerd pen spoiler: There is a scene where Cagney's boss speaks over the phone and you can see the same Pelikan on his desk... in Atlanta.
From season 2 of the comedy spy series Get Smart, the episode Casablanca. Secret agent Maxwell Smart is providing a security escort for a VIP. When the man he is guarding picks up a pen at the airport counter to fill out a form, Smart becomes suspicious because it is a fountain pen, and the airport would surely only provide ballpoints. Thinking that the lever filler fountain pen must be a bomb, he disassembles it to "defuse" it, but only spills the ink from the sac. The VIP is murdered by other means shortly afterward.

In the sci-fi movie "Back to the Future" Michael J. Fox uses a fountain pen in 1955 to write a warning letter to be opened up in 1985:

I have not been able to identify the pen:

One thing is for sure, the bottle of Skrip ink shown in the first picture was not from 1955. Someone may suggest that maybe he brought the ink from his own time in the future. However this is unlikely as his own time in the future was 1985 and this type of bottle was used in the 1990's. So it's a double time-paradox...

It is notable that, unlike the dip pens in earlier episodes, this one is quickly reclaimed by the owner after use by another character.

In the 2018 movie "Bad Times at the El Royale" there is a scene where various persons sign a guest book. The mysterious guests use the provided gold colored FP that sometimes appears to be placed in a desk base but other times appears capped:

The FP has a most unusual two tone nib that I have not seen before.

Here is another picture. The nib appears to have gold colored "wings". Anybody have an idea what pen this is?

Not a movie but something that at least 800k people have seen is this picture that Job Biden @potus just posted (please no political comments, not the point). Who knows what type of pen this is?

Maybe something like this (Amazon link) photoshopped?

This seemed maddeningly familiar till I realized I was thinking of an Esterbrook 3xxx series 'sunburst' nib. Which is no help at all.
