Last night I saw "Munich: the edge of war" about the events leading to the British-German peace accords of 1938. Here is a pic of Jeremy Irons as British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain with what appears to be a Conway Stewart:

    Neville.jpg

If we are to believe the story, Chamberlain was a skilled diplomat that outsmarted Hitler as the movie ends with the following text: "The extra time bought by the Munich agreement enabled Great Britain and her allies to prepare for the war and ultimately led to Germany's defeat." Well... that's one way to see it. Anyway, according to the movie, the Munich accords were signed with a dip pen with a stub nib:

The movie's view of Chamberlain has been the consensus among historians for quite a while. I haven't read the book cited here, but the general line accords with an earlier bio I read.

Dang! I stand corrected. This happens when I'm not up to date in my history while I spend too much time watching too many movies. Kudos for Chamberlain!

I was watching Cast a Giant Shadow with Kirk Douglas.

I didn't see any fountain pens but found this quote enlightening

I'm an American, Major. That's my religion. The last time I was in Temple I was 13 years old. I made a speech and got 42 fountain pens. I don't have to go again. I've got enough fountain pens.

King Charles III using his silver Montblanc (the snowcap briefly visible as the cluttered desk is rearranged in the second video clip) as a dip pen at the proclamation ceremony in St James Palace. Seems the inkwell was a gift from his sons. Prince William used a (Pilot? — harder to identify) pen from the tray provided.

@catbert is it my imagination or does the king have some ink stains on left Hand, 2nd photo?
Interesting that father is right handed and son is left handed

Could also be a shadow or a glimpse of his sleeve in the background?

Probably, though dip pens, ink stands and smudges go hand in hand

Second chapter of the new series "Interview with the Vampire", the characters use a silver fountain pen with barley pattern to sign a contract. As this event takes place in 1912 New Orleans, the proper possibilities are rather limited.

Fountain pens will sometimes make their appearance in the oddest places. Here is a screen capture from the end credits of "Enola Holmes 2".

    Enola.jpg

I've never heard of Springer's Silver Fountain Pens, but then again the movie's events supposedly take place in 1885...

A screenshot from the 2017 film "The Zookeeper's Wife". A fountain pen is used in one of the scenes, probably a Nonami:

Of course you know that I'm kidding. He's really enjoying a cup of extra sweet Vulcan mocha.

Towards the end of Carter (2022), in a break between incoherent, CGI-heavy, 'one-take' fight scenes, you get the following:

During a chase, a scientist in the back of a truck driven by the hero uses a Parker IM (which he carefully posts) to unpick some stitches and access an implant in the hero’s neck.

Dark S3 - E4 Origin.. (German TV series)

A distinct fountain pen. I wonder if anyone could identify it?

Another distinct one, though the cap is blurred. But very distinct.....

I wondered about that pen too!

Your post reminds me: I spotted this on AliExpress a while back.

Oh, shoot. I forgot you posted it. I believe the scene was happening in the 1950s Germany....
SO I doubt if it's Aliexpress or at least I hope not

I sort of guessed this would be your type of series... You might want to check 1899, if you haven't already...
