By happy coincidence I will be at the OH pen show! It'll be my very first pen show
I'll have my FP Geeks pin on, of course. Anyone else planning on being there?

Every dang day. I live there now!
Ink trading by mail is annoying because of postage costs...So if any other FP geeks will be there, I will have Montblanc Turquoise (discont'd!) , Pelikan Edelstein Adventurine, PR Tanzanite, and J. Herbin Lie de The for trade or sale.
I wish I could go. When is it?
It's in Columbus, right?
Yes-Dublin, OH to be exact. Nov 6-9.

I will be there FOR SURE.
if you had to go for ONE day, which day would you attend? Go early and get pic of litters, or at the end for deals?
This will be my first pen show!

So this pen show is coming up!
I really look forward to it. Any fellow FPGeeks definitely going?
All Four Days.
Hope to see some of y'all there. I'll be wearing a green button up shirt with my FPGeeks pin.
I'll be there noon Thursday through very early Monday morning.
Busy with too many real life considerations this week, I packed in a rush. However, I did manage to toss into the luggage a couple hundred beautiful and fully-restored old pens. I have a selection of Pellikans not on my website yet.
At each show I try to bring some show and tell. This time i brought a brand, not a manufacturer. Gold Bond was a store brand for Montgomery Ward. I've written a couple articles about the label, pens made at least by Wahl, Waterman and Barrett. 1930s. Until I sorted these to bring to the show, I had not realized I have now more than 60 variants, one of the world's heftiest acccumulations. Meet me at the show and we can chat. Not for sale.

Thursday afternoon at the pen show. The low-population early day when serious trading happens, and not-so-serious palling around

Here's our haul. I wasn't going to buy a pen but things happen at these shows. :P
Well, Hector, it's damn easy to go to a show and not buy a pen...

and that when Truth and Error have fair Play, the former is always an overmatch for the latter."

^ I don't know: it's easy to go to a show and not buy a coffee mug. But pens are harder to resist.
OOPhoto, that Visconti looks particularly fantastic.
Here's my pics from the show!
