    Default ~FS~ 3 Vintage FP's - Parker 51's

    Hi all,

All of the pens on this sales list are fresh from my workbench.

These pens all have been restored inside and out and are ready to fill
    with ink and use.

If you see one or more pens that you like, please reply to me at:

    4. ~SOLD~ to E.D.

1950 Parker 51 Demi Aerometric in burgundy with a Lustraloy cap.
There is no damage to report on this pen. I refinished the cap and it
looks very nice. It has a silver pearl clip jewel. Before I started
working on the pen, I shook it and could hear the breather tube
rattling around, so I replaced it with a new stainless steel breather
tube. The old breather tubes were made from sterling silver, I think,
and some are not holding up well over time, which may have to do with
the use of Parker Superchrome inks, in some pens. Superchrome ink is
nasty stuff, do not use it in your pens! This pen has a smooth writing
Extra Fine 14K nib. Capped the pen measures 5 inches or 12.6 cm. The
ink sac cover is the full length type, chrome plated and in perfect
    condition. The condition is Excellent.

~SOLD~ to E.D. $135.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping see
    "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

    5. ~SOLD~ to E.D.

1951 Parker 51 Demi Aerometric in black with a Lustraloy cap. There
is no damage to report on this pen. I refinished the cap and it has a
nice matte finish. It has a silver pearl clip jewel. I did not
refinish the cap on this one, so the cap is in about average
condition. It has no dings, dents, etc. but has typical micro
scratches and shows some wear from normal use. The filler is the over
the end squeeze type, i.e. the pressure bar is exposed and curves
around the end of the ink sac. The nib is a smooth writing Extra Fine
    14K.

~SOLD~ to E.D. $110.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping see
    "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

    6. ~SOLD~

1950 Parker 51 Special full size in Teal Blue with Lustraloy cap.
This is a first year 51 Special. To be 100 percent correct, this pen
should have had a mirror finish cap with a black jewel. It has a matte
finish cap with a silver pearl jewel. I refinished the cap and it
looks nice, has no bump marks, etc. The nib is a smooth writing fat
Extra Fine or Fine in what Parker called Octanium. The Octanium nibs
were an alloy of cobalt, chromium, nickel, iron, molybdenum,
manganese, and traces of beryllium and carbon. The alloy seems to have
held up well and does not corrode. The filler is the over the end
squeeze type, i.e. the pressure bar is exposed and curves around the
    end of the ink sac.

~SOLD~ $125.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping see
    "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

    Rules, Shipping, Etc.

The usual rules apply, the person sending the first e-mail on an item
~stating intent to purchase~ gets the item. I will give you 5 days to
decide if you like the pen or not. I prefer payment by PayPal but also
accept checks or money orders in USD. I can only accept payment by
PayPal from countries outside the U.S. I ship worldwide, so
    international customers are always welcome.

Prices are post paid in the U.S., and will be shipped with a tracking
number and insurance. I normally ship inside the U.S. by U.S.
Postal Service Priority Mail, which is $24.75 to most countries,
except Canada, which is less. I can also ship to other countries by
by Express International Mail, if you request it, but it is costly.

Return Policy: I will always allow pens, or other items, to be
returned. If there is a problem I would prefer the chance to fix the problem
or replace the item, when and if possible. Otherwise a full refund
will be offered. If you find a problem and choose to send the item
(pen, mechanical pencil, etc.) to someone else to be corrected, I will
not be responsible for any other problems.

    Happy penning!
