    Default Welcome Give Away #5

Judging from the last give away it looks like you guys are still into getting free stuff. How’s this for ya, a Cedar Blue Parker 51 Demi? This one has the initials FJC imprinted on the barrel and has been fully restored by yours truly. All you have to do to win this beauty is tell us which pen you’d like to have if money were no object. You have until 11:59pm on Sunday April 18th, 2010 to leave a reply and be entered into the contest. The winner will be randomly selected and sent an email as well as be posted in the forum thread. We look forward to seeing you all on the boards!

    Gosh, where to begin?

If money were no object I'd like a mint vintage Parker Mandarin Duofold Senior. Non-streamlined, with a flexy Parker nib. It's a pen both my wife and I will appreciate (and be too scared to use!).

Next would be a mint 1950s green-striated Montblanc 146 with Medium nib /drool

If money were no object I would probably search the Earth and buy a NOS Sheaffer PFM V pencil/fp set.

if i could find a tree with money to spare, i'd get a Koi patterned celluloid fountain pen like this -> http://www.stylusfinepens.com/writin...tain-pen-0.jpg I have a twitter pal with one and I am so envious of its beautiful colors! (but it is way way way out of my price range)

For me, I think it would be an Aurora piston filler with a sterling silver body & cap and gold-plated trim...Either the Optima or the 88, not sure which. They are both just so pretty, and they're Italian -- and I love almost everything Italian.

Beyond any doubt at all, it absolutely would be a hand-crafted Nakaya Special-Size Cigar (2mm greater width than the regular Cigar model) with the "Heki-Tame" finishing that's seen here: http://www.nakaya.org/epw.html#hekibuto. It has the "Ishime Kanshitsu" styled grip and the two-tone, 18k nib. I too would have some difficulty actually using it though. Its one of those pens that you would display prominently and just drool over it every time you entered the room...

    Very Best Wishes,
    Stephen

If money were no object, I would get a Hakase FNWB-EX-B-SD〜SWD-PL (#29018). It is made out of water buffalo.

If I could have any pen at all? Why that would be the Waterman Sérénité, in blue. The curve, the color, oh man. It's just pure elegance.

    That is my grail pen.

If I could have any pen it would be the Titanic- DNA fountain pen. Not sure which color though they all look good.

Probably a 1950's era Montblanc 149. Silver rings, celluloid body, super-geeky-cool telescoping piston mechanism, just beautiful. Nib size? Well, I'd need two, actually (money's no object, right?) - one with an F, and one with a B (or BB or OB or OBB) stub.
