Custom Bulb Filler

I just finished this earlier today. It's a custom bulb filler FP that was commissioned. I had artistic freedom on this project so I tried to go all out. I chose to go with my Combustion material along with a translucent orange ink chamber and clip inlay.


Dimensions:


Capped: 5 3/8" ~ 137mm

Cap: 2 3/8" ~ 60mm

Body: 3 1/4" ~ 83mm

Body & Nib: 5 1/16" ~ 129mm

Posted: 6 1/8" ~ 156mm

Ink Chamber: 2 1/4" ~ 57mm

Section: 3/4" ~ 19mm

Cap/Body: 12x.08mm Triple Start

Body/Section: 9x.75mm

Ink Chamber/Body: 9x.75mm

Here's a bit on what I did for the clip inlay:




The final dimension for the inly was just under 3mm in diameter and only 1mm thick!

Thanks! My intent with this design was to be able to make a bulb filler from materials not suited for it. Right now I'm in the process of making one from wood - Lignum Vitae.

It's nearly complete! I'm just waiting for some items needed to really polish up the inside of the ink chamber. Pics to follow as soon as it's done.
