    Default Makrolon resource

I've recently acquired a second hand Lamy 2000 with a badly cracked cap (but a splendid extra-wide nib!!!!) - and looking for resources on repairing Makrolon found this useful guide to how to repair Makrolon, on the Bayer website.

Thanks for sharing! If the repair doesn't work out, you can send the cap back to Lamy and they should replace it.

I hope I can repair. It's the only old-style Lamy I have with the 'L' disc at the end and 'W Germany' on the cap imprint so I'd like to keep it authentically pre-reunification.

But it's nice to know if everything goes wrong I can call on Lamy - like Lady Penelope Pitstop ("Hay-ulp! Hay-ulp!")
