    Default A Seasonal Message from England

    Well, I am afraid it's not calligraphy, but I am relying on the pure artistry of Thomas Hood to carry me through.

    This time of year is dismal in England, and Hood understood perfectly:

    The pens are my Osmia 226 with Jewel nib, and for the red bits, a Pitman's Fono pen. Inks are Lamy blue-black and Diamine Ox-blood.

    That certainly sums up a dingy, grey November day in Hertfordshire!

    Thank you for sharing - I'd forgotten how nice Diamine's Ox-Blood ink was!

    Yes and it's the same in Berkshire!

    Yes I like Ox-blood, but Diamine's Crimson is excellent too.
