    Default FP friendly Envelopes?

So I was trying to track down some fountain pen friendly envelopes that arent going to cost me an arm and a leg. Anyone have any recommendations?

I found some really neat (and cheap) envelopes in an Asian market! Came both plain and decorated with Asian motifs, in several colors and sizes.

I found some FP-capable parchment envelopes on Amazon; also Southworth.
My other pen is a Montblanc.

And my other blog is a tumblr!

These metallic white or silver #10 envelopes available from an eBay seller are 5.1 cents (including the shipping) when you buy 450 of them ($23 shipped to the US). The seller also has smaller lots of 50, and other size/material envelopes that I am told (but have not tried) take FP ink well, and will combine shipping. These metallic ones surprisingly take FP ink really well. It soaks in and dries quickly without feathering with every ink I've tried. They only downside is they are on the heavy side for an envelope -- 1/4 or 0.25 oz.

The cost including shipping if you buy only 50 and nothing else is $6.62 (in the US), or 13.25 cents per.

What mrcharlie said! I tried a small order, loved them, then bought the 500 pack. The White Metallic shimmers and really shows off inks like J Herbin Stormy Grey.

Also got some of their square-ish, colored ones that did not take ink so well.
