Wow, they look at least cool, thanks for the link
But I would never could justify myself such a price.
Clearly paying the price for a designer piece, not with respect to the writing device excellence.
Metal grips. Sadly not for me.

I like these better:

When I go metal, I go minimal:
"When Men differ in Opinion, both Sides ought equally to have the Advantage of being heard by the Publick;
and that when Truth and Error have fair Play, the former is always an overmatch for the latter."

I have nothing against metal sections...
Montblanc_Recommendation_Response_01
+1 on the Montblanc Noblesse. I used to own one. Although I don't usually enjoy fine nibs, my Noblesse had a wonderfully smooth and generous fine nib. I'd still be using the pen except that the barrel's black enamel surface began flaking off. (Was told that this is a far from unknown problem with that enamel finish.) Obviously not a problem with an all-metal barrel.
The metal section was perfectly all right to hold. But the roughened surface that prevented it from being too slick in my fingers picked up ink in its many tiny recesses, so that I needed to be assiduous about wiping the section clean after dipping it into an ink bottle.
I think they look ugly. I wouldn’t pay 1% of the asking price for them.
