Next month I must try harder to see you. Next week I'll have a new pen I would like you to drool over it (but then maybe not LOL).

Don't suppose anyone coming tomorrow has a working oriignal Onoto 'The Pen' Magna I can take a look at ? Will be bringing my modern reinterpretation.
When are we meeting in September? The 1st Saturday of September falls on the 1st. My preference would be for the following week. What say you? And where is Carl??? It must be his turn to bring the goat? Any chance we all feel adventurous and might meet somewhere else in Central London. I am so boooooooooooooored with the menu at the usual establishment. Speak people. I am all agog.
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

I'm away next weekend, s0 8th September would be better for me.
As for the location, I am unfamiliar with central London these days, so I'll go along with what others suggest.

Vive les chevaliers! A bas les têtes rondes!
I get the impression there are only 4 or 5 of us on here, probably a lot more on the reddit channel.
Anyhow next month (October) will be a change of venue
I'll not be around in September but October sounds more promising. I also need to bring a bag of ink samples to someone I promised at the August meeting.
Please let me know the new venue when known.
My other writing instrument is a pencil.
Will be on the 1st at the same place.
If people want to change the location I can post for you on reddit, where far more people reside, but then I have a strong feeling there's also a number of regulars who attend due to word of mouth. If a suitable alternative location is found then it'll need passing round everyone so will take a few months to take effect.
For note, I do not like the food or prices at the Bierschenke, but the location is good, the staff good to us, and it's near key stations. Any alternative place will need to be easy to get to for those of us outside London else you'll lose people.
OK well I hope to see you all at the pen show in October then.
I do not know anything about Reddit, but am subscribed to too much stuff already!

Vive les chevaliers! A bas les têtes rondes!
I can't do either the 1st (family celebration) or 8th (working) this month, and am trying hard to sort out the day for the pen show.
I'm no help with suggestions for a venue, but I'm another that is becoming cheesed off with the menu (and the reduction in what is included in the dish for an increased price). I agree that the staff are good with us, but ...
Bear in mind that the London Pen Show is on Sunday, October 7th, and we don't usually meet up on the Saturday before the show.
Some days, it's hardly worth chewing through the leather straps....
Hullo all.
It was nice to see some of the regulars at the show today.
I hope you all had a good time and have not bankrupted yourselves...

Sorry to have missed yesterday's meeting - I was away.
I hope it was a success.

Whose planning to go to the meeting on Saturday?

I'll be there. Not managed to get an 'original' Onoto The Pen yet - one of my aims for the year.
I'll be there too. Unfortunately neither my Oldwin nor my BMW Montblanc 146 will have arrived, and I've sold my Conid, but I'll bring a few pens along!
I made it! I had an enjoyable afternoon, good to meet people

Had to try and work out who you were, then I found one of your ink tests - was good to meet you, glad you enjoyed it. Sorry about the inky fingers (no I'm not )
