That pouch is awesome.
I would love to get P45 nibs for that price ($15-16?!). Dang.

First try, the nib is very very smooth, maybe the flow is a bit abundant, but overall it feels awesome!

It certainly doesn't seem to write like any EF nib that I've written with. It almost looks more like a B nib.

ItsmeMario,
Not that it matter much, but if you have you had a good look at the underside of the collar, there should be a letter printed on it.
Sometimes the imprint is very feint.
It should be a indication of the nib size / type
Possibly the letter B ?
Hi Proteus, the collar is marked M. Anyway, my P45 came with a stainless steel medium nib, I just recently bought the gold nib to replace my SS nib.
That's the reason why I cannot identify precisely its size, all I know is that it is evidently narrower than the medium stainless nib provided with the pen.

Nib sizes and marking in the gold nibs...

The 45 medium is very nice, and the F is my favorite as I tend to write the l and e very tight
I have a B somewhere that I have replaced with an F
I'd love to try an XF sometime
According to a thread in FPN http://www.fountainpennetwork.com/fo...-measurements/
A XF should be 0.4mm; F 0.5 and M 0.6mm

Many thanks titrisol,
Looked at the parker45pens.com
( have not looked at it for at least 2/3 years )
It is an excellent general guide.
Does anyone know who the site actually belongs to ? ( There are no contact details )
I recognize alot of the photography from the past
Thought the layout was very clever and easy to use.

I have a 14k A (accountant) nib. My understanding is that it is finer than xf.
