As I plan to properly overhaul a Vacumatic, I was wondering which style of tool do you prefer for removing the plunger/pump and why?
One type is the brass or aluminum block type such as this from pentooling.com
Another is a hand squeeze tool like this one from pen dragons (https://www.vintagepensacsandparts.com)
There is also the original Parker tool but I doubt I can find one or justify the cost if I do.
And finally there is this one from penpractice.com:
Maybe there are others.
Which type do you prefer and why?
