Perhaps a week under a sunlamp without the cap in place will make it into a doctor's pen.

Re: Just when you thought you had seen everything........
Gentlemen,
A great many thanks for your replies.
As always, they made me smile…….alot.
I have now ‘ spoken ‘ to the seller and he sent me some more images.
The colour is very very light grey bordering on white.
In all my years I have never seen a pen affected by UV light exposure this much.

Re: Just when you thought you had seen everything........
Realistically, the pen looks like someone's special. It could be a color changeling, though.

Re: Just when you thought you had seen everything........
To continue this theme, if I may.
I recently was lucky enough to see this image.
One is 1981 the other 2009.
And I thought I had seen all Parker Harlequins ever made……….

Re: Just when you thought you had seen everything........
I thought that the informed here would have noticed that the shields are a little diffferent in size, paler and are reversed.
There is also a 2005 version, oddly with a GP arrow clip which hardly works with the original classic look.
Either were ever released, both were R&D dept projects.

Re: Just when you thought you had seen everything........
Yesterday whilst thrashing around in search of these particular rare Jotter Harlequins……….
A Parker collector I know very well sent me this image today.
It appears that there is a full Gold version – another reverse shield pattern

Another different Parker pen to continue this topic if I may
‘ Just when I thought I had seen everything ‘
A near recent event..............
A while back I was sailing along happily, very pleased with myself, that I had collected all the NOS versions of Sonnet MK I & II FP’s
Then I was sent these images.
They are courtesy of Yorvik Pens

A continuation of this topic...........
Just then I thought I had seen everything..........
Another different Parker pen.
In the recent past I was very privileged to be sent this image from a good friend of mine.
A Parker Arrow collection of his.
It blew me away, I still have to pick my jaw up from the floor every time I look at this image.

Re: Just when you thought you had seen everything........
Part 1
Just before this Christmas past I was sent these images by a very good friend of mine.
He asked me if I had seen any of these Parker pen sets.
I was lost for words, thought that I had seen everything.........
There is only one other Parker collector that I know who would know the answer - christof
I would invite any ideas as to what this set is from anyone here.
Part 2 to follow in the next few days.
Further images of these very unusual Parkers which were a very limited edition release.
The fountain pen nib system is very unusual.
This set is not a prototype
